HAPA, Looking Ahead to 2025 and Beyond!
As we move into 2025, we at Hawai‘i Alliance for Progressive Action (HAPA) are energized by the continued support of our community and are looking ahead to a future of deep transformational change. With your help, HAPA has become a key force for advancing systemic change in championing a Hawai‘i that values people and ‘āina over corporate profits.
As you plan ahead for the coming year, we encourage you to support our efforts with an end of year contribution. Happy New Year, and thank you for being a part of HAPA’s growing movement for positive change!
Your end of year donation to HAPA will support:
Ongoing organizing and advocacy to support good governance reforms to address pay to play politics
In-depth political leadership training to level the playing field for community accountable individuals who are committed to being a champion of the public good and putting community interest ahead of corporate greed through the 2025 Kuleana Academy cohort
Robust policy advocacy towards a more just and sustainable food system
Ongoing research to make the usage of restricted use pesticides (RUP’s) across Hawaii public and accessible
Continuing to provide regular educational events on restricted use pesticides and the broader food systems policy
Continuing to watchdog and mobilize engagement and support for protection of ʻāina, wai and kai including water rights, stream flow restoration, lokoʻia (fishpond) restoration, de-militarization efforts, etc.
Continuing to amplify the action alerts and efforts of our partner organizations and coalitions from across the pae ʻāina
